2nd Annual Del Rosa Alumni Golf Tournament - Jan 23rd 2010 In its second year, the Del Rosa Hotshots held their Annual Golf Tournament to help raise money for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Held on January 23rd, the tournament just missed one of Southern California's strongest storms - after a week and a half of rain, Saturday turned out to be a gorgeous day to golf. Around 75 golfers showed up at the public San Bernardino Golf Course as well as Fire Department News Network TV (FDNN-TV) to cover the event. We raiesed about $6000 dollars for charity - that included; golfer entries, special donations, raffle tickets and a putting contest. After the day of golf, a Texas-BBQ style dinner was held in the banquet room to award the winners, and losers, of the day. All in all, it was a great day.
